Assistant Director of Sport
Applications are invited from experienced and qualified staff for a full time, maternity leave role as the Assistant Director of Sport from Term 4, 2025 until the end of Term 2, 2026.
The Assistant Director of Sport is responsible for providing leadership to a large team of PDHPE teachers and coaching staff in developing, promoting and monitoring the school’s sports programs and other sporting opportunities for students. They will work closely with the Director of Sport to ensure the high standards of the K-12 co-curricular sporting program. They will have demonstrated experience in leading co-curricular sporting programs for girls and organising activities and initiatives that contribute to a positive school community culture.
The successful applicant for this temporary position will have strong communication skills, the ability to exercise professional judgement and experience coaching girls sporting teams. They will be able to model the highest standards of professional skill and collaborative practice as a leader of teams of teachers and of coaches. The successful applicant will be organised, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate strong skills in using multiple technology platforms to ensure clear and timely communication with K-12 students, families, coaches and the broader school community. A knowledge of IPSHA, IGSA and NSWCIS pathways and organisations would be an advantage.
