What does the job involve?
The Assistant Facilities Manager HUB will manage the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property/facility and be the point of contact for key stakeholders and/or client.
The role will assume overall responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, reviewing service reports and processing payments.
The AFM will be based 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working from home.

- Partnering with the Client/Stakeholder(s)
- Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client’s expectations are met
- People Management experience
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget
- Overseeing Contracts
- Plan and manage all contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right cost
- Ensure expiry of contracts are well-monitored and re-procurement is initiated when required
- Keeping the numbers in check
- Actively work to ensure that the site’s financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets and control requirements including the JLL Code of Ethics
- Ensure financial processes are followed at all times
- Ensuring everyone stays safe
- Keeping an eye on the Site & Operations
- Limiting Risk to JLL & the Client
Want to know what we're looking for?
- An understanding of basic technical aspects of property, and fixed maintainable assets.
- Ability to deal with a variety of issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines. Ability to obtain and hold an AGSVA Clearance and or any additional associated Entity clearances will be preferrable, but not mandatory.
- Experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or related field
- Has an understanding of basic technical aspects of property
- Sound computer skills including Microsoft suite of products essential.
- Basic knowledge of HSE & Australian Standards (AS) requirements.
- Basic knowledge of vendor management for specialised services.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
