About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Muswellbrook team as a Trainee Gymnastics Coach for our new KinderGym program.
Kindergym is Gymnastics Australia’s fundamental movement program for children aged 0 – 5 years old and involves facilitating activities to develop gross and fine motor skills, music and rhythm, success, and challenges, KinderGym classes are designed to develop physical literacy in the whole child — socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.
No experience or qualifications are necessary for the position as full training will be provided to the right person. The position will be during school hours with days and times to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain formal nationally recognised qualifications in Fundamental Gymnastics Coaching.
In this varied and flexible role, classified as an Assistant Gymnastics Coach – 19 years and over under our Enterprise Agreement, you will be;
- Assisting in the preparation and implementation of PCYC Kindergym programs
- Assist participants and parenst/carers in the Kindergym program
- Checking and maintain gymnastics equipment, including routine testing, to achieve the highest standard of safety
