Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Associate Director, Markets to lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies and integrated marketing initiatives across the Tax & Accounting portfolio (for both our Software and Content businesses). This role will drive all Marketing and Go-to-Market alignment across Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure comprehensive planning and execution that enables Wolters Kluwer to deliver its value propositions and achieve growth in our key markets. This includes strong execution on product launches, market expansion, and customer engagement to further our brand and revenue goals. The Associate Director will also lead a high-performing marketing team to support business growth and innovation, with laser focus on Product, Performance and Revenue Marketing in particular.
Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy
  • Lead the planning and execution of GTM strategies for new product launches, enhancements, and market entries.
  • Define and refine value propositions, messaging, and positioning in collaboration with Product Management and Sales.
  • Develop and manage launch playbooks, readiness plans, and performance metrics to measure Go-To-Market effectiveness.
Integrated Marketing Leadership
  • Oversee the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, content, events, PR) to drive awareness, demand, and retention.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment with Wolters Kluwer’s global standards.
  • Manage marketing analytics, reporting, and optimization to improve ROI.
  • Manage marketing budget effectively to achieve expected return on investment for every dollar spent.

People Management
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of marketing professionals across campaign management, product marketing, and digital strategy.
  • Set clear goals, provide coaching and feedback, and support career development.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the central point of coordination between Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
  • Drive internal enablement through sales training, collateral, and competitive intelligence, including sales tactics, pricing and distribution.
  • Ensure customer and market feedback is integrated into marketing and product strategies.

Customer and Market Insights
  • Conduct market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis to inform GTM decisions.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.

About You:
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing and GTM roles, in SaaS or professional services.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing marketing teams.
  • Proven success in leading product launches and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the tax and accounting industry or adjacent regulated markets is a plus.
  • Proficiency with marketing and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Google Analytics).
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Passion for innovation, customer success, and continuous improvement.
