The Role:
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and commercially driven Head of Asia Pacific to lead our business across the region. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving growth, overseeing operations, and ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term vision and strategic objectives within the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The individual will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint, maintaining operational excellence, and enhancing client relationships across diverse markets.
Responsibilities:
- Regional Leadership: Lead,manage and oversee all business functions across APAC via a mixture of direct and matrix reporting lines ensuring effective operations across multiple geographies with varying regulatory and market landscapes.
- Strategic Growth & Execution: Develop and implement regional growth strategies in line with the company’s objectives. Identify market opportunities, assess risk, and pursue commercial initiatives to expand the company’s presence and service offerings.
- P&L Ownership: Hold full Profit & Loss accountability for the region. Ensure efficient allocation of resources, manage budgets, and drive financial performance aligned with overall company targets.
- Business Alignment: Ensure that all regional activities and strategies are aligned with the company’s long-term vision, values, and global objectives. Cultivate internal relationships and implement effective processes to ensure regional functions are aligned with other global locations to ensure seamless and efficient coverage for our clients and partners.
- Client Engagement & Commercial Oversight: Act as a key client-facing leader and senior point of escalation. Lead high-level commercial discussions with existing clients and pursue new business opportunities as needed.
- External Representation: Serve as the company’s figurehead in the APAC region. Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and forums to strengthen brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Executive Reporting: Deliver timely, transparent and accurate performance updates, business insights, and progress reports to the global management team ensuring timely escalation of business and customer critical issues.

- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within financial services, post trade, or a related sector.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-market teams and operations within the APAC region.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrable experience delivering results to a budget and managing a P&L.
- Clear, concise and open communication style with ability to handle disagreements constructively.
- Deep understanding of regional market dynamics, regulatory environments, and commercial landscapes.
- Exceptional client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Confident public speaker and experienced representative at industry events.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style and ability to execute effectively. Proactively looks for, suggests and executes on solutions to problems.
