The role
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, APAC you will effectively contribute to APAC’s talent acquisition activities and meet the recruitment needs of Palladium in the region. You will need to have a good understanding of the APAC job market, strong technology, relationship management and organisational skills, the ability to deliver swiftly, and commitment to team development and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build a diverse talent pipeline for current and future roles within the APAC region. Build and maintain long-standing and trusted networks and relationships with potential talent within the industry and develop processes for attracting that talent into Palladium.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand hiring trends, identify opportunities and potential challenges, and inform leading practice in the APAC region. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in talent acquisition (including the use of technology and AI), incorporating new ideas and approaches into the recruitment strategy.
- Establish strong relationships with hiring managers within APAC Corporate and HR leads across the region to understand their talent needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of the specific requirements of each role, including necessary skills, experience, capabilities and cultural fit; and adapt to changing needs and requirements of hiring managers.
- Regularly attend and contribute to HR and recruitment meetings, providing updates on talent acquisition efforts and gaining insights into ongoing hiring needs.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job posting and candidate sourcing to short-listing, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and due diligence checks for all corporate positions located in our Australian and Indonesian offices.
- Manage bid recruitment activities for our Business Development initiatives, ensuring a broad pipeline of potential candidates renowned in the industry is maintained.
- Represent Palladium at job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related activities, enthusiastically and positively promoting the company as an employer of choice.
- Coordinate recruitment activities for APAC’s intern program, Early Career Program and Indigenous recruitment and onboarding program.
- Provide recruitment advice to APAC’s diverse range of project teams to ensure Palladium’s project recruitment processes are leading practice, consistent and aligned with Palladium’s global approach.
- Contribute to and implement Diversity & Inclusion objectives aligned with the Global and APAC EDI Strategies.
- Collaborate with APAC and global HR and talent acquisition colleagues; align activities and objectives with APAC’s Strategy; and collaborate on regional and global projects where required.
- Mentor and coach others both formally and informally, investing time in their success and ensuring messages from leadership are supported and clearly cascaded.
About you
You will have relevant experience working within talent acquisition and be comfortable managing the recruitment process for multiple positions across a variety of functions and teams. You will have excellent stakeholder management experience, adept at managing the expectations of multiple stakeholders concurrently, ensuring commercially astute prioritisation of vacancies and recruitment activities.
Additional key requirements include:
- Strong negotiation, communication and conflict resolution skills, with an ability to influence a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent technical skills in Microsoft 365 (in particular Excel and Powerpoint), LinkedIn Recruiter, and previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Sound commercial acumen, with the ability to link talent attraction and resourcing requirements to business needs.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the capability to convert complex position descriptions into attractive advertisements.
- Strong organisational skills, and ability to flexibly and efficiently undertake multiple tasks with various levels of complexity concurrently.
