Bondi’s Brown Sugar Restaurant is seeking an experienced casual fine dining Head Waiter with excellent food and beverage knowledge to join our team and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences in the heart of Bondi Beach.
About us:
Situated in the local neighbourhood of Bondi, Brown Sugar is a vibrant 48-seater bistro that is celebrating 25 years this year. We are open 3 days for all-day brunch and 6 nights offering a casual fine dining service. We are a small team of industry professionals committed to delivering the most memorable dining experience.
Position Overview:
As Head Waiter, you will assist overseeing service standards, and waiters - ensuring guest satisfaction, you'll be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist to Coordinate waiters to ensure high-quality service and adherence to standards.
- Open/closing restaurant
- Foster a positive work environment and provide leadership and guidance to team members.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
- Uphold health and safety standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Head Waiter, supervisory or assistant management role within the hospitality industry.
- Attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends
