The day to day

As the Associate Director, Program Assurance & Governance, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of critical governance forums. Your role encompasses secretariat responsibilities, ensuring meeting agendas are aligned, and outcomes are meticulously detailed. You will be pivotal in monitoring forum participation and advancing issues when necessary. Supporting the uplift of non-financial risk governance and reporting, you will ensure our forums meet regulatory assurance reviews and external audits. By partnering closely with senior leaders, legal, compliance, and risk functions, you will help craft a structured and well-detailed approach to customer and regulatory risk.

You will:
Lead the design and execution of governance forums

Act as a senior secretariat, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping

Support non-financial risk reporting and uplift

Engage and influence collaborators to align with regulatory requirements

Ensure governance activities meet the enforceable undertaking requirements

Why you are our next Associate Director, Program Assurance & Governance

You have proven experience in senior risk, governance, or compliance roles within regulated industries like telecommunications, banking, insurance, or financial services. Your capability in establishing and leading audit-worthy governance forums is outstanding, especially those aligned with regulatory response programs. With a track record of working with senior executives and risk leaders, you deliver structured governance outcomes. Your deep understanding of non-financial risk fields, including complaints, sales conduct, and customer vulnerability, sets you apart. You possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, a strong focus on clarity, and meticulous attention to detail. Your dedication to record-keeping excellence is unparalleled.
