We are seeking a highly skilled Barista/ All Rounder to join our team. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is passionate about the food and beverage industry and enjoys working with people.
You will play a key role in our energetic team of food and beverage enthusiasts who are driven to provide excellent customer service. You’ll have the opportunity to be part of a fun atmosphere where both customers and employees have a great experience that’s welcoming and engaging.
Barista responsibilities and duties:
- Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages
- Good communication skills
- Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
- Promote Piccolo Me Loyalty program
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Adhere to recipe and presentation standards for food and beverage items -- coffees with latte art
- Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
- Contribute to a positive team environment
- Barista qualifications and skills, can handle 6 - 8 kilos of coffees on shift
- POS and cash handling
- Food handling and serving
- Must be available to work Tuesday, Wednesday, , and weekends, also available to start at 6am
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Right attitude – high energy levels, hardworking, reliable, honest, passionate, always welcoming and smiling to customers
- Ability to work as part of a positive and close-knit team
- Well presented, communication skills and time management skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Can speak English fluently and must be in Australia for at least 12 months
- Experienced and comfortable working busy shifts

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
