What’s on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Business Process & Governance Lead for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. We are recruiting for the West Region Delivery Team delivering critical infrastructure projects across Sydney Waters assets. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:
  • Establishing and maintaining a clear framework for process governance, including documentation, version control, ownership, and accountability, ensuring all processes are mapped out in required systems e.g. ProMapps
  • Leading assurance activities such as internal audits, maturity assessments, and compliance reviews, coordinating closely with the Risk team to monitor adherence to core processes and risk controls
  • Identifying process inefficiencies, duplication, and gaps through operational review, assurance activity, and team feedback
  • Facilitating continuous improvement workshops to engage functions in identifying and implementing enhancements
  • Owning the design, structure, and governance of regional reporting frameworks, ensuring alignment with business priorities, risk frameworks, and process maturity
  • Lead Driving and championing the implementation of new or updated processes with a structured approach to engagement, communication, and behavioural change
  • Developing supporting tools, guides, and training content to ensure change is adopted consistently.
How you'll connect to the role:
  • Proven experience in process improvement, governance, or operational assurance with strong understanding of change management
  • Experience leading process documentation and business transformation initiatives
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops, engaging stakeholders, and driving cultural change
  • Ability to turn operational data into insights that inform action and create clear, meaningful, and impactful presentations and reports
  • Interpreting and identifying value-add opportunities that drive continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and visualisation skills
  • ProMapps Experience (preferred but not essential).
