About the role
We are seeking a Business Support Officer to join our Maitland office on a Full-time basis. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to provide critical support to our large team of therapists as well as delivering administrative support to the wider organisation. The BSO will also facilitate client services to participants and their families.
This role will be responsible for:
- Provide administration support to therapists across the organisation.
- Manage the therapy schedule, including booking and cancelling appointments as required.
- Switchboard management and reception services.
- Administrative support including but not limited to data entry, mail duties, printing, filing and binding.
- Ordering stock, kitchen supplies and stationary
- Managing room and resource bookings.
- Assist therapists in travel and accommodation bookings.
- Basic NDIS admin duties including assisting with claims and the intake team.
- Process of HICAPS and Medicare refunds.
- Prioritisation of tasks set by therapists, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Collation of motor vehicle logs and other associated duties.
- Onsite distribution, storage and communication of IT equipment.
- Assisting with additional tasks as needed.
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar health related role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in an allied health environment is preferred.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Valid unrestricted Drivers Licence
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working rights in Australia
