THE ROLE
The Business Support Officer is responsible for providing administrative support in the purchasing, sales, leasing and land management activities undertaken by the Low Rise Construction, Acquisition and Divestment Unit in Homes Victoria. The role involves supporting staff by completing administrative tasks including but not limited to invoice processing, record keeping, managing meetings and assisting with report preparation.

- A team player who works well with others in pursuit of team goals, collaborates and shares information, has excellent communication skills, and ensures timely delivery of projects.
- Able to acquire a good understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act, Victorian Government Land Transaction Policy, the role of the Valuer Generals Office and general property law.
- Able to demonstrate skills in project management and administration in a property related field.
- Good at researching, preparing and executing reports for property projects with a high degree of attention to detail.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Support the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs and record keeping.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
