About the Project
Across the next 12 months, the Australian Museum will be hosting two exciting major temporary exhibitions. This project involves developing and delivering the marketing campaigns for these exhibitions. Project deliverables include:
- Exhibition marketing plans
- Campaign creative development
- Coordination of promotional videos and exhibition photography
- Implementation of media plan (asset delivery and campaign optimisation)
- Campaign reporting
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Campaigns Manager to develop and deliver marketing campaigns for the Australian Museum's major temporary exhibitions. In this role, you will enhance the museum's profile and reputation while meeting audience, revenue, and communications objectives.
You'll develop insight-led marketing strategies, manage project budgets, collaborate with creative agencies, and analyse campaign performance to drive visitation and engagement with our exhibitions.

- Clerk Grade 7/8
- Fixed term
- Part time 25 hours per week

You will be paid a competitive annual salary $113,266 - $125,720, pro-rated, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading.
About you
We're looking for a marketing professional with a strong background in campaign management who can balance commercial imperatives with limited resources. You thrive in a high-volume working environment and can prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
Knowledge & Experience
- Extensive experience in delivering integrated marketing and communications plans that meet audience, revenue, and branding objectives
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms and practices with the ability to use and interpret performance analytics and data insights
- Proven budget and project management experience across mid to large scale campaigns
Essential requirements
- Tertiary level qualifications, or demonstrable equivalent professional experience, in a relevant discipline
