- Location - McQuoin Park, Waitara
- Permanent Full Time- Monday to Friday (8am-4pm) / (9am-5pm)
- Pay rate – $61 per hour + superannuation +NFP benefits
Reporting to the Residential Manager or one of the Care Manager at McQuoin Park which is a 122-bed home, this role requires clinical leadership and guidance to both clinical and personal care teams. We are seeking a confident and experienced leader who excels in managing complex issues and complaints, driving staff performance, and overseeing clinical audits to ensure the highest standards of care.
About the Role:
- Ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, as per the Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policy and procedures
- Providing leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams to ensure the delivery of quality resident outcomes
- Working in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Previous experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar role with demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues and experience working with Dementia Residents
- Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others
- Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team managing complex complaints
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
