Your Opportunity
Mission Australia is seeking skilled and passionate Case Workers to join our team in Dubbo.
These are meaningful opportunities for professionals experienced in working with vulnerable children, young people and their families.
In these roles, you will provide trauma-informed, early intervention case work. You will deliver a mix of long-term and short-term support services, including school and/or home-based case management, needs assessments, practical assistance, referrals, and group-based interventions. You will also participate in community outreach supporting broader awareness
We’re looking for people with strong experience working with children and young people with a demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed practice, and family-focused care, who are confident engaging with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and CALD families.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Respond to referrals, conduct initial needs assessments
- Develop and implement individualized case plans, provide practical support, and facilitate referrals to internal and external services.
- Providing ongoing case management to clients to achieve identified goals.
- Coordinate and deliver group programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation, including risk assessments, progress reports, and data entry.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to advocate for clients, participate in case reviews, and support community development.
Requirements for Success:
- Relevant Qualification and / or relevant experience in the human services industry.
- Knowledge and experience working with client issues including domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate case documentation and engage effectively with clients and external agencies.
- Current NSW driver’s license
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
