Carer

• Permanent Part time role available working afternoon shifts Monday - Friday

Monday - Friday 3pm - 9.30pm

About the role:

As a Carer, you will enhance residents' lives with compassionate care. By understanding their needs and preferences, you create meaningful connections that support their well-being. You will assist with personal and daily care, maintaining dignity and respecting routines, with the support of your team.

Duties may include:

• Assistance with a wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans
• Assistance with medication and simple wound dressing
• Assistance with activities under supervision
• Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love

About You:

• You hold Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualifications
• You are physically able to carry out required the duties in a safe and efficient manner and are willing to pass a full functional assessment
• You are a born listener, you’re genuinely curious to know and understand people
• Your care skills are driven by compassion, and your positive attitude is contagious
• You rally your team, even on challenging days, to problem solve, connect and overcome
• You have at least three to six months experience working in a similar role within aged care
• You are able to work the roster as outlined in the advertisment
