The Candidate:
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about enhancing the lives of others, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be organised, punctual, friendly, and genuinely caring towards clients.
The Role:
As a Support Worker/Carer in Geraldton, WA, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.
We are looking for reliable carers in the Geraldton area that can assist various clients with domestic assistance, personal care and companion care. Must be willing to do all 3 types of in home care. Client transport is required so you must have a reliable car, preferably no large SUV's as clients may find it difficult to climb in.
This is a casual role in a very busy area so we have consistent hours available Monday to Fridays and some weekend work is available as well. Please include your availability in your application.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Smartphone
- Must have a reliable vehicle (No large SUVs)
