A little about the role

The Case Manager with the support of the Team Manager will lead the team of experienced Youth Workers together with Therapists and Management making a positive and lasting difference to children and young people through implementation of therapeutic interventions. You will lead the team to provide intensive trauma informed in home support maintaining a focus on cultural safety through focused, flexible support and quality care, using the Key Care Team framework.

  • You will lead in development of a positive team culture
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and local community supports as required
  • In consultation with the Key Care Team, contribute to the assessment of need, and the development of individual therapeutic and goal plans for young people
  • Provide 1:1 supervision and coaching with Youth Workers
  • As a Case Manager you will participate in the recruitment process of staff


The base salary for this position is $100,776.00- $105,340.56/annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + mobile phone + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. Company vehicle/allowance +fuel card included. This position is a permanent full time position.

About you

You will bring with you,

  • Training and Qualifications in Youth Work/Social work or Community Services for this role is essential
  • A minimum of 2 years experience of working directly with children/young people in the care system
  • The ability to demonstrate experience working with children/young people with challenging behaviour in a trauma informed way
  • It is desirable that you have experience in leadership or supervisory roles
