Are you a driven and relationship-focused professional with a passion for retail and commercial property? Join our dynamic team as a Casual Mall Leasing Executive and play a key role in enhancing the value of our retail assets through innovative and strategic casual leasing initiatives.
About the Role
As a Casual Mall Leasing Executive, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing casual leasing opportunities (pop-up shops, vending, activations) that align with the Centre’s strategic goals. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise revenue, manage mall space usage, and deliver engaging retail experiences.
Here’s a snapshot of your day;
- Develop and execute annual business plans to meet casual leasing and advertising revenue targets.
- Prepare and manage budgets for all CML sites within the Centres.
- Prospect and secure new casual leasing opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams (Leasing, Facilities, Finance, Marketing) and external clients.
- Coordinate community activations in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Negotiate mall merchandising agreements and manage temporary leasing of vacant tenancies.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, invoicing, and rent collection.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to enhance Centres vibrancy.
Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;
- Experience in Retail Leasing or Casual Mall Leasing.
- Strong understanding of the Retail Leases Act and property documentation.
- Proven ability to build relationships and close deals.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and service-oriented approach.
- Real Estate Certificate.
