About the role
As a Catering Supervisor at Calvary John James Hospital, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient management of our Catering & Cleaning Services. Reporting to the Hospitality Services Manager, you will oversee daily operations, maintain compliance with food safety standards, and contribute to delivering high-quality service throughout the hospital. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to mentor a diverse team and help maintain excellence in hospitality services.
What you bring
Proven leadership skills in managing a diverse workforce.
Experience in staff supervision, rostering, and training within a hospitality or healthcare setting.
Knowledge of safe food handling requirements for vulnerable people.
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities.
Ability to conduct audits, compliance checks, and quality improvement initiatives.
Experience in ordering supplies, managing budgets, and liaising with suppliers.
Ability to lead and support the team in the absence of the Hospitality Services Manager
