We’re looking for a Chapter Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and ML systems. You’ll lead a high-performing team, shape engineering strategy, and deliver production-grade GenAI applications that align with CommSec’s business goals.

As a Chapter Lead in the CommSec AI Foundations Team , you’ll:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship across AI engineering initiatives.
Champion modern engineering practices and ethical AI principles.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align AI capabilities with strategic outcomes.
Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
We support flexible working, with a hybrid model (50% in-office at CBP South) and options for adjusted hours, part-time arrangements, and job sharing.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AI solutions (preferably on AWS).
Lead development of interactive GenAI applications (e.g., chat-style or agent-based tools).
Guide multi-agent orchestration and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI models in production.
Implement monitoring and observability tools to ensure model performance and safety.
Drive research and innovation in GenAI and Agentic AI systems.
