We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Childcare Worker - Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education across all early learning age groups—infants, toddlers, junior preschoolers, and preschool-aged children. As a key member of our teaching team, the ideal candidate will build strong relationships with families, collaborate with colleagues, and actively contribute to the planning, documentation, and continuous improvement of our educational programs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
The Childcare Worker - Early Childhood Educator will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement the program with activities for the class in accordance with the centre’s policies
- Organize age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Develop warm & respectful relationships with children & families
- Observe & document children’s learning and their progress
- Design, implementation, and analysis of a quality educational curriculum
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Monitor indoor and outdoor play to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's well-being and milestones.
- Encourage play-based learning and creativity through structured and free play.
Qualifications:
The following skills and qualifications are required to fulfil the role:
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Have at least two years’ experience educating and caring for children within the birth – 5 years age group
- Have a current, approved Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certification
Essential Skills:
- Have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and the National Regulations.
- Have the ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with children and families
- Be computer literate as we provide electronic programming & portfolios
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices
- Ability to plan and implement educational programs
- Competence in health and safety procedures

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,500.00 – $78,000.00 per year
