About the role
As Clinical Care Manager you will support the Home Manager to create and maintain an environment where residents feel valued, they are treated with dignity and respect and each resident’s individual needs, wishes and goals are met.
You will lead the Clinical Care team, ensuring they understand who the residents are including their identity, culture, diversity, beliefs and life experiences. You will be part of an integrated team of people working within an established and agreed framework supporting the resident to live their best life.
Your main duties will include:
Provide clinical and leadership support to Home Manager.
Support care delivery through leadership and guidance to Care Team.
Deliver time specific quality and clinical improvement projects at a Care Home level.
About you
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior management role within the aged care sector with a proven track record
Quality Assurance Certificate or equivalent experience
A proven ability in quality management using a teambuilding approach through mentoring and staff development
A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
An inherit curiosity and a personal value of wanting to do better all the time, a change leader.
