This role is based with the Westmead Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit, Our unit is at the forefront of cancer research, conducting vital clinical drug trials and investigator-initiated studies. What you'll be doing
Join the Westmead Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit as a Clinical Trials Assistant and support cutting-edge cancer research we are all passionate about. As a Clinical Trials Assistant, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of clinical studies.
In this role your daily responsibilities will include:
Providing research and administrative support across the unit.
Maintaining accurate study documentation and records.
Assisting with basic laboratory procedures as needed.
Supporting daily operations and team coordination.
Contributing to impactful cancer research outcomes.

Essential Criteria
Qualification: Relevant Tertiary qualification in a health discipline
Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualification in a health or science discipline and equivalent training and experience.
Proven proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as database software.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to a fast pace environment and be flexible with work hours.
Flexibility to work collaboratively within a team and independently with self-oversight.
Demonstrated excellent organisational, problem solving skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
Ability to complete tasks efficiently and deliver outcomes as required, with accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of medical terminology and/or laboratory based work and/or venepuncture certification.
