We’re currently expanding our team and are looking for a Contract Manager in Mackay, QLD to provide exceptional service to key customers through the effective management of logistics contracts and relationships.

Location: Mackay, Queensland
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Contract Manager to act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer(s). In this role, you will build strong client relationships, ensure contractual requirements are met, and provide effective coordination of all logistics services.
The successful candidate will work closely with both customers and internal teams, ensuring operational delivery aligns with service agreements while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer(s) to understand needs and expectations.
- Act as the first point of contact for escalated queries, responding to calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and present weekly KPI reports, ensuring contractual targets are monitored and met.
- Investigate, follow up, and close non-conformance reports (NCRs) in line with company procedures and timelines.
- Communicate customer requirements to Centurion’s Operations team to ensure all contractual KPIs are understood and achieved.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in line with procedures, working with relevant managers and internal departments.
- Prepare quotations and ensure invoicing is accurate and timely.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific safety and quality procedures, as well as Centurion’s HSEQ standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment by reporting incidents and adhering to all OH&S requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and adherence to quality systems and procedures.
- Undertake ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and resolve service issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work autonomously while building effective relationships.
- Basic knowledge of warehousing processes and customer ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within logistics or supply chain.
