Due to our continued success, we are seeking a motivated, driven and energized individual to take responsibility for a wide range of functions in a busy and rewarding role. This role will support us in refining our belt condition monitoring, thermography, and data collection methods for our conveyor maintenance process. The chosen candidate will be equipped with the abilities required to grow as a team using their knowledge of the field and proven diagnostic skills.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relations
- Using condition monitoring data to identify, quantify, analyse and solve issues for clients
- Use data to utilise opportunities with client’s conveyor systems
- Provide business development and growth within the Branch and providing technical support and direction
- Maintain and utilise customer mapping and quotation registers to support sales growth
- Advise technical recommendations to the mechanical/splicing service division
- Develop accurate and comprehensive client reports on belt/conveyor efficiencies and recommendations on how to achieve optimum efficiencies
- Occasional travel to site required to assess client requests
- Qualification in a mechanical or engineering discipline
- Ideally LS licence to use radiation equipment or licence to use LX equipment
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- Conveyor industry knowledge including general conveyor belt maintenance, belt splicing, rubber lining and lagging
- Proven knowledge of NDT techniques, methods and devices
- Knowledge of total quality management policies and procedures
- Ideally LS licence to use radiation equipment or licence to use LX equipment
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Hold Full Australian Work rights
