- This role is Permanent Part-time, 30hrs/fortnight.

- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday daytime and evening shift availability is required for this role. You will also need the availability to work a rotating roster across the week, and three out of four weekends (both Saturday & Sunday)
- Understanding customer needs and providing your expert range knowledge to support customer buying decisions.
- Actively selling IKEA products, always in a curious, friendly, and helpful way.
- Understanding the department goals and proactively contributing to business growth.
- Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Assembling displays, implementing pricing communication, filling and condensing stock and maintaining your department so it’s always clean, tidy, and ready to shop.
- This work area includes on-the-job physical activity such as lifting, pushing/pulling, sliding/transferring of stock which varies in size and weight, and working low to the floor or up a ladder at times.
- A strong interest in home furnishing and life at home.
- A confident communicator with experience working in retail, sales, hospitality, or another customer facing role.
- Able to prioritise multiple tasks in a high-volume customer facing environment where you will answer frequent customer enquiries while balancing the daily tasks and goals.
- Passionate about learning and sharing the IKEA product range and services with customers.
- Comfortable with on-the-job physical activity and safe manual handling.
- Ability to work collaboratively with your team as well as independently.
- An adaptable and flexible approach to change.
