The Opportunity
Are you ready to play a key role in protecting critical infrastructure and shaping the future of cyber resilience?
ElectraNet is seeking a Cyber Security Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team and help drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our cyber security risk framework. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of technology and operational risk, where your insights and expertise will directly influence how we safeguard our systems, data, and people. You'll also provide expert advice and guidance, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to build a shared understanding of cyber security needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber and technology risks across projects, systems, and third-party engagements.
- Leading risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure robust security controls.
- Providing technical advice and mentoring across the business, championing a “Secure by Design” approach.
- Supporting incident response, threat management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to build awareness and drive a culture of cyber resilience.
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
- A highly motivated and results-oriented cyber security professional with 3-5 years of experience in a risk-related role.
- A strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, NIST RMF).
- A proactive mindset with the ability to make risk-based decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- An experienced communicator who can translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant cyber security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, CISA, Security+ or equivalent) is desirable.
