As a Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for your team's performance, focusing on building and maintaining a highly motivated and collaborative environment. You'll proactively identify and remove obstacles, ensuring the team remains focused on delivering value. A key part of your role involves encouraging and facilitating continuous improvement within the delivery team, alongside coaching and mentoring individuals to apply the most appropriate Agile and Lean tools and techniques. The specific complexity and breadth of products or teams you manage will vary depending on the organizational context.
Responsibilities:
Implement, facilitate, and optimize agile practices across teams, ensuring continuous agility and efficiency.
Foster a culture of experimentation, ownership, and continuous improvement, empowering teams through trust and collaboration.
Develop flexible delivery plans, manage workflow, proactively resolve impediments, and transparently report on progress using key metrics.
Facilitate efficient delivery across all lifecycle stages, optimizing processes and promoting data-informed, user-centric decisions in collaboration with diverse teams.
Guide individuals and teams using coaching and active listening to navigate challenges, fostering a growth mindset and problem-solving approach.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and empowering cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high quality digital products and services.
- Strong command of Agile and Lean principles with practical experience in their application.
- Proven experience in proactively managing delivery flow, risks, and impediments to maintain momentum.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Desirable qualifications, experience & skills
- Familiarity with various product lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro).
- Exposure to subscription based products/services or digital personalisation and identity is a plus.
