About Our School

Urangan State High School is an award-winning school with around 1,400 students from Years 7 to 12. We are a school with momentum, focused on renewal, innovation, and excellence.

To support high-quality curriculum implementation, students commence later on Mondays and Fridays, providing teachers with 110 minutes of collaborative planning time each week. This initiative strengthens curriculum alignment, enhances teaching practice, and improves staff work/life balance. Learn more about our programs via our YouTube channel: Urangan SHS YouTube.

Our just cause is clear: empowering a community of curious learners, creative thinkers, and connected humans. We actively pursue this vision through high-quality educational and social experiences that open new ideas, pathways, and possibilities for students, preparing them for 'what comes next'.
