Be part of a purpose-led organisation with care at its core. You’ll make a difference by acting in the best interests of our communities and city. Be better together with collaborative and inclusive partnerships. Embrace possibilities and be open to new ideas and creating bold solutions.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Sydney Ambassador Supervisor within the Visitor Services team.

As the Sydney Ambassador Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in providing high-quality and accurate tourist information to visitors while supporting and guiding the volunteer Sydney Ambassadors through training, knowledge sharing, and operational assistance.

You’ll be responsible for managing the cruise meet & greet service, overseeing special events visitor service areas, and ensuring that the volunteer Ambassadors are well-supported during their shifts.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • sound geographical knowledge of Sydney, New South Wales, and key tourist destinations
  • strong customer service skills and experience in delivering high-quality visitor services
  • demonstrated ability to coordinate, train, and provide guidance to volunteer teams
  • the ability to stay up-to-date with local events, procedures, and visitor information
  • flexibility to work a 7-day roster across various operational hours, including the Visitor Centre, Roaming Ambassador program, and special events programs.

If you are passionate about Sydney and enjoy working with people, this is the perfect role for you!

The recommended applicant must complete a pre-employment health declaration.

Applications must be submitted online by 11:59pm, Thursday 21 August 2025.
