Your New Role
The Direct Acquisition Partnerships Lead will play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition through strategic partnerships. This role requires a detail oriented individual with a proven track record in partnership management, budget management, exceptional negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of direct-to-consumer marketing strategies. The role will report to the Product Owner of Direct Acquisition and will be heavily engaged in this value stream and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships that drive customer acquisition and enhance the company's market presence
- Work closely with Acquisition teams to ensure partnership and vendor goals are aligned with overall business objectives and marketing strategies
- Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements with partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company policies
- Regularly monitor, analyse, and report on the performance and impact of partnerships, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies

Proactively identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with the company's growth objectives
Oversee the budget, including approvals and sign-offs, to ensure alignment with financial and member targets and efficient use of resources. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth partnership operations and drive collaborative success
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks related to partnerships and customer acquisition
- Work with partners to improve processes and activities to improve outcomes working with internal and external resources
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Design or technology or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated experience in partnership management or business development, preferably within a direct-to-consumer environment
- In-depth understanding of direct-to-consumer marketing strategies and how partnerships can enhance these efforts
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with partners and internal teams
- Ten or more years of experience in Marketing / Digital Marketing / IT, preferably within financial services with demonstratable leadership responsibilities
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight within a business unit, ensuring alignment with financial targets
- Broad knowledge of the Superannuation industry preferred
