Right now, we’re looking for a Disability Support Worker to work with a vibrant client living with cerebral palsy in Heidelberg West, VIC. If you’re someone who brings patience, creativity, and a warm personality, this could be your chance to make a meaningful difference every single day.

Position Details
- Location: Heidelberg West, VIC
- Type: Casual (with the potential for ongoing work and additional clients)
- Shifts: Morning and evening shifts available – flexibility is essential
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate under a TFN arrangement – no need to worry about tax time headaches, and you’ll have full workplace protections and superannuation contributions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing high-quality, respectful support tailored to the needs of a client with cerebral palsy
- Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and mobility support
- Encouraging independence and building confidence through community participation
- Following an individualised support plan to meet physical, emotional, and social needs
- Bringing patience, empathy, and a sense of fun to each shift
About You
- Experience working with people with physical disabilities (experience with cerebral palsy highly regarded)
- Ability to manage complex needs while maintaining a calm, positive approach
- Strong communication skills to build trust and rapport
- Interest in music – and if you can play an instrument, that’s a huge bonus!
- Flexibility to work both morning and evening shifts to meet the client’s needs
Qualifications (Highly Valued)
- Cert III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or related field
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
