At Partnercare Australia, we’re on a mission to deliver culturally inclusive, person-centred care to older Australians and people with disability. We’re now looking for dedicated Community Support Workers to join our friendly team and help our clients live safely and independently at home.
About the Role
In this hands-on, community-based role, you’ll support people with daily living activities and social participation — all while building meaningful relationships and promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support with personal care, showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Assist with meal preparation, light cleaning, and household tasks
- Encourage and support social outings, community access, and companionship
- Report and document progress in a professional, timely manner
- Work alongside families, care coordinators, and allied health professionals
- Follow safety standards and NDIS practice guidelines at all times
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for reliable and compassionate individuals with the right qualifications and attitude. You must have:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services
- Experience supporting older people or people with disability
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Medication competency
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Induction Modules (can be completed online)
- Own reliable vehicle, valid driver’s licence, and comprehensive car insurance
- Full Australian working rights
- Minimum availability of 3 weekdays
