About the role:
Norco are seeking energetic and flexible distribution employees to work in the cold room at our busy milk manufacturing factory in Labrador. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in operating machinery or working in refrigerated warehouses.
Employment will involve shift work and may include weekends and Public Holidays. This is a full-time position.
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will follow all operational and safety procedures to ensure our customer orders are delivered 100% in spec, in full and on time. Full on the job training will be provided, with opportunities to multi skill and progress to higher grades available for motivated employees.

Essential selection criteria include:
- Physically fit to perform physical / manual tasks in a cold room environment.
- Forklift ticket and ongoing competency operating in confined spaces.
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work shift work, including weekends and Public Holidays.
- Punctual and reliable for early morning, day and afternoon shifts.
- Understand product picking procedures for Vendor orders.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Sound time management skills with the ability to meet set deadlines.
- Numeracy and literacy ability to understand and complete orders.
- Capable of problem solving and decision making.
- Display behaviours that are consistent with Norco Co-Operative’s values of Authenticity, Agility, Diversity and Connection.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
