Job Description
Currently we are in the market for a Dr PA/ Medical Receptionist to join our Sydney team. This role will see you providing a range of administration and reception tasks, ensuring an exceptional experience for every single patient. Your scope of duties will include;
- Greeting patients as they come into the clinic, handling calls and making appointments.
- Administration and data entry - setting up patient profiles on Genie, handling all new patient documentation and updating all relevant details in the system for the doctor.
- Providing information in regards to fees and services, issuing documentation, consent and explaining complex details to patients.
- Taking payments, processing Medicare and health fund payments and chasing any outstanding payments.
- Following up on testing results, booking day surgery and coordinating any treatment bookings required.
- Fielding any patient enquiries, resolving what you can and liaising with the specialist to ensure all queries are handled.
- Oversee the smooth running of the clinic, looking for ways to improve processes and ensuring a smooth process for both the Specialist & patients.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced Doctor's Personal Assistant (PA) to join our team, someone with a background in supporting a specialist practice. Proficiency in Genie software is ideal, along with strong technical skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
In this position, you will assist a busy Fertility Specialist, so a strong sense of urgency, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are crucial for your success. As the first point of contact for the practice, you will be dedicated to delivering an outstanding experience for every patient.
