We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Project Lead to join our team!

The Account Project Lead (APL) brings together all project delivery services and activities to the account and the client. The APL acts as the client facing delivery Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for their Delivery Hub, Practices and subcontractors to their account. Working as a member of the project delivery team, the APL will have line of sight to the project contractual services sold to the client and represent the single interface to the Account Delivery Lead (ADL), Practices and subcontractors for those services including the management and governance of all NSSR and project delivery.

This role will be based in Geelong, Victoria.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring project delivery to expected contract requirements and scope of project services work for the client (cost, schedule, quality, SLA outcomes)
  • Working with Industry Project Leader, ANZ PMO and Delivery Excellence to satisfy organisational project governance requirements and enhance project delivery performance
  • Establish as single point of contact on the account for projects to the customer regardless of whether Non-Practice or Practice project. Engage relevant leadership groups where there are projects that are at risk or require some intervention.
  • Promoting client satisfaction through efficient, effective delivery of projects by proactively managing issues/risks that could impact service delivery, identifying and driving optimisation while managing scope, resources, cost of delivery and coordination
  • Ensuring Programme/Project Manager(s) meet established schedules, resolve technical and operational issues, and accomplish delivery goals towards contract commitments
  • Tabling change requests according to client contractual timelines and clearly articulating impact on time, cost/price, resourcing, and risk
  • Ensuring resource plans align to contractual and organizational business strategies, plans and project pipeline opportunities
  • Supporting the provision of detailed information required to complete monthly client billing, project financial forecasts, POR variance management, ensuring accurate, complete and timely entry. Engage with account finance lead.
  • Actively identifying opportunities to drive down the cost and improve margin of project delivery.
  • Supporting the ADL and account in the development of client project delivery service levels and managing project delivery to meet contractual SLA requirements & KPIs
  • Supporting the ADL in representing the account for all project delivery and sales opportunities
  • In conjunction with Client Partner, and the ADL, ensuring all opportunities/new projects/change requests are drafted, scoped & estimated and comply with organizational governance, review and approval requirements.
  • Understanding their client at the local, country, region and global level to analyse delivery requirements, contribute to client’s strategic business plan, and foster incremental revenue opportunities and value propositions
  • Managing key client relationships and expectations, interfacing at all levels of the client organisation from CxO and below, and ensuring client satisfaction for Project delivery
  • Participating in client steering and governance functions across the project portfolio
  • As an account leader, support account initiatives and issues as required such as P1s, annual leave drives, AOP improvements etc
  • Ensuring process improvement initiatives (CMMI, ISO, and ITIL) are implemented and effectively contribute to organizational performance and productivity improvement and corporate quality/DXC best practice standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Proven experience in program and portfolio management
  • Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors
  • Proficiencies in program planning, execution, and team leadership
    A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
    Relevant certifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or equivalent
