The Trustee for Zaksaw Warner Trust, trading as Rise & Shine Kindergarten Warner is currently recruiting Diploma Room Leaders to join our wonderful team on a full-time basis (38 hours per week).

Responsibilities:
- Reasonable protection of the health, safety, security and well-being of all children and staff within the service including the provision of safe environments, nutritional requirements, infectious diseases and infection control
- Adherence to relevant policies, procedures and statutory requirements
- Respect for and inclusion of diversity in its many forms
- Provide a stimulating, play-based learning environment and provide a variety of activities on a daily basis including reading, singing and games
- Prepare materials and activities for all activities within the nursery
- Ensure adequate supervision of all children at all times and ensuring hygiene practices are followed
- Supervising / implementing daily routines of children
- Demonstrated knowledge of child health and safety including safe environments, nutritional requirements, infectious diseases and infection control
- Apply child-appropriate behaviour guidance strategies
- Respect for and maintenance of confidentiality, including via electronic media / social networking
- Supervising other employees and working with individual and groups of children.
Requirements:
- You are a team player and enjoy working with a vibrant and passionate team of professionals, with a passion for what you do!
- Sound understanding of National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Hold a relevant Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and must have a minimum of 1 year practical work experience
- Hold a current Blue Card or eligible to obtain one
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate, plus asthma & anaphylaxis training
