The role
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of exhibitions, conferences, and events—delivering exceptional experiences for our guests. You’ll collaborate closely with both internal departments and external clients to ensure every event is executed to the highest standard, upholding Crown’s reputation for excellence.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manage large-scale events weekly, including but not limited to gala lunch and dinners, multi day conferences, televised and high profile events, ensuring seamless end-to-end execution
- Responsible for driving revenue generating initiatives, including upselling and cross selling additional Crown services
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored event solutions.
- Prepare accurate event orders and floorplans in line with Crown standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Kitchen) to ensure flawless service delivery.
- Conduct site inspections, menu tastings, and pre-event briefings.
- Reconcile event accounts, manage payments, and ensure timely, accurate billing.
- Ensure compliance with CrownSAFE health, safety, and operational procedures.
About you
You’ll bring the following
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in event planning or conferencing within a similar environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and client accounts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Amadeus, Opera, Micros, or floorplan software is desirable.
- Hospitality or business management qualifications preferred.
