About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Office of the CEO team as a Executive Officer (Liaison and Governance), where you will be responsible for:

  • Provide high-level executive support to the Director, Corporate Governance and Policy, aligned with strategic and operational priorities.
  • Prepare executive briefs, analyse and collate information, and support the achievement of key organisational objectives.
  • Support the delivery of performance targets aligned with the CEO’s Performance Agreement with SA Health.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders across a complex political environment.
  • Navigate sensitive political processes with professionalism, confidentiality, and strong awareness of governance protocols.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build effective partnerships across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, demonstrating sound judgement, time management, and the capacity to deliver outcomes under pressure and within tight timeframes.
  • Experience providing high-level executive and project support, including drafting complex and sensitive documents, managing urgent material, and coordinating agendas, minutes, and related governance activities.
  • Demonstrated capability to operate proactively in complex and fast-paced environments, anticipating needs and adapting to change with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Sound knowledge of the SA Health system, including an understanding of relevant organisational structures, policies, and government protocols.
