Facilities & Housekeeping Manager

Summary:

We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will manage a team of cleaners to ensure cleaning excellence. You will be required to clean and contribute to housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of facility maintenance
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and supplies
• Oversee daily cleaning operations across all assigned areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Manage, train, and support cleaning staff to maintain performance and morale.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control checks.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with management to address staffing, workload, and operational needs.
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests or incidents.
