We are looking for a Facilities Manager for a 6-month contract, which possibly can be extended. You will be engaged to manage all aspects of facilities maintenance & building management at a bespoke laboratory located in Jandakot, with flexibility to work from home or JLL office a few days a week.
Duties will range from contractor access coordination through to analysis of service and building performance with a view to strategic and sustainable management of the facility. This is to be delivered through day to day hard and soft services functions to support the overall operational capability of this and other associated facilities as required.
Your key focus is to manage the provision of statutory building compliance, general repairs, operational and technical maintenance relating to all aspects of the facility.

Ensure that difficulties on site are resolved promptly with minimum disruption and to the agreed program
Work in conjunction with JLL ‘s Property Service Centre (PSC) and client vendors to manage escalations regarding contractor performance and/ or client complaints/ escalations and ensuring works are completed in a timely manner
User management – Assist in the maintenance of planned schedules across multiple categories
Engineering – ensure base build equipment registers and maintenance schedules are complete and accurate
Partnering with the entities/ stakeholder(s)
Deliver excellent customer service to meet client expectations
Be the key point of contact for all facilities management queries
Proficient use and utilisation of JLL’s Corrigo work order management platform and iComply platform to provide efficiency, performance, and quality data whilst ensuring contractors comply with all WH&S and Risk Management principles
What are we looking for?
To be successful, you’ll have a proven track record in Facilities Management, with outstanding client service and interpersonal skills.
You’ll be able to take direction and tackle a variety of complex issues within tight deadlines. You’ll be goal orientated and focused on exceeding performance targets.
Also important is knowledge and understanding of statutory building compliance, a proven ability to problem solve and deliver client solutions, and the experience to train and disseminate knowledge to client employees and service providers.
You’ll not only work with one of the largest pathology businesses in Australia but be able to really define the role, make it your own, and have complete autonomy to lead the FM function to success!
