Varied Rosters with all the entitlements of a Full-time position
Successful applicants must have a minimum 12 months of Hospitality FIFO experience in Australia.
While this role will include coverage for leave across our sites, the expectation will be to assist with a variety of additional work including mobilisations, shutdowns and most importantly mentoring new to industry staff. Therefore we are looking for people who are truly industry professionals.
These roles offer the security of a Full Time position with all the entitlements, while providing you with the variety of working at different locations throughout WA. To be a successful candidate you will have a minimum of 12 months FIFO experience and be able to demonstrate training & development of others.
Your experience will demonstrate your expertise in the following areas
Demonstrate a strong safety culture aligned with the Cater Care Safety Commitment
Flexibility to work across all departments, rosters and shifts
Housekeeping duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds
Kitchen hand duties - assist with basic food prep and dishwashing
Dining room duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
Bar & retail duties - serving residents in the village tavern and retail areas
Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
Laundry Services - washing, drying & sorting of uniforms, towels and other items
Mine Site Cleaning - general, ablution and mine site office cleaning
Day and Night shift - must be flexible to work both
Repetitive, physical tasks, including heavy lifting and bending
Assists the on-site broader team as required
Skills and Experiences:
To get started you will need
More than 12 months previous experience in a similar role
A commitment to working safely and watching out for your colleagues
National Police Clearance within 6 months
Australian Drivers Licence (C class)
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
The ability to work well independently, as well as with other team members
A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, sometimes for long periods.
