About the role
Deliver high impact financial analysis and insights that will inform decision making across the organisation. You will also automate and manage a suite of reports to support different business requirements. You will assist in driving financial sustainability across new diverse revenue streams, improve commercial outcomes and support long term strategic planning.
What you’ll do
- Support the design, creation, and preparation of a suite of reports to support different business requirements
- Review current reporting processes and provide recommendations for automation and improvements of any current reporting
- Provide analytics, insights, and recommendations to optimise business decisions
- Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights
- Assist the finance business partners with the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting for respective areas
- Work closely with executive leaders and department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets
- Prepare monthly reporting to the board through preparation of insightful reporting and visuals such as Power BI dashboards
- Capture, maintain, manage, and track knowledge, insights and opportunities derived through research providing reports and visuals on the findings
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- University degree, or other relevant qualification, in a field such as business, commerce or economics
- Strong excel modelling skills
- Advance skills in financial modelling, business intelligence tools (eg. Power BI) and preferably experience with Calumo & Microsoft F&O
- Naturally curious, and data driven in your approach to solving issues
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members at all levels
