We are seeking a commercially astute and analytically driven Finance Analyst to support our Sales and Marketing functions within a dynamic FMCG environment. This is a high-impact role, working with cross-functional teams to ensure visibility and control over trade and marketing spend, deliver accurate reporting, and drive value through actionable insights. This role is pivotal in providing financial insights, ensuring budgetary control, and driving return on investment (ROI) across marketing campaigns and trade spend. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong operational accounting background and is after commercial exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to manage and optimize trade spend and marketing budgets.
- Monitor and report on actuals vs. budget/forecast for trade spend and marketing spend.
- Support monthly financial close processes, including accruals and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies related to spend management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting accuracy and spend efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting tools.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA qualification preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in an accounting/finance role including within the FMCG sector
- Strong understanding of trade spend, promotional planning, and marketing ROI.
- Proficient in financial systems (e.g., SAP, TM1, Power BI, Excel), especially Power Query
- Experience working with large datasets
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Business partnering mindset with a proactive approach to adding value.
