The opportunity
You will join us as a Finance Systems Analyst, taking responsibility for enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our finance and payroll systems.
You will collaborate with teams across the organisation to understand their needs, identify opportunities for system improvements, and help implement changes that streamline processes and support compliance. Your work will ensure the integrity of financial data and provide a strong foundation for timely, informed decision-making.
In this role, you’ll also support system updates and help maintain clear documentation and user guides to assist colleagues in getting the most from our finance systems.

What it takes to do this work
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Substantial Experience in a financial systems, business analysis, or finance transformation role.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes and workflows.
- Proven ability to gather and analyse business requirements, map processes, and co-design system solutions with stakeholders.
- Practical experience supporting financial systems, including upgrades, testing, maintenance, and documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and practical way.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting or BI tools such as Power BI or TM1.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document business processes and develop user-focused training materials.
Desirable:
- Understanding of the aged care sector, including funding models and compliance requirements.
- Experience with ERP and HRIS platforms such as Epicor, Dayforce, TechnologyOne, Oracle, or SAP.
- Knowledge of financial data structures and how they integrate across payroll, HR, and operational systems.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
- Experience delivering user training and onboarding for financial systems and tools.
