Job Description


Oaks Gladstone Grand Hotel is looking for a dynamic and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our café team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This is a full-time position with regular morning and weekend shifts.

In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of our café, ensuring guests enjoy first-class service and presentation every time. You’ll lead by example, inspire your team, and work closely with the kitchen to maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily floor operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service.
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to achieve operational and service goals.
  • Build a strong knowledge of our food and beverage offerings to confidently promote them to guests.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver consistent quality and presentation.
  • Supervise, train, and support Food & Beverage Attendants to perform at their best.

Qualifications


To be a success in this position, you will have:

  • 12+ months in a supervisory role within hospitality.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a restaurant, cafe or hotel environment.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and professional attitude.
  • Strong self-motivation and the confidence to lead a team.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (advantageous but not essential).
  • Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings.
