Job Vacancy: Front Office Assistant / Receptionist
Location: 72 Federal Street, North Hobart
Part-Time: 2–3 days per week to start
We are seeking a reliable and confident Front Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied day, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Your main duties will include:
- Answering phones and greeting customers
- Data entry and general admin work
- Managing bookings and customer records
- Handling cash and basic bookkeeping
- Keeping the office tidy and organized
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- A polite and professional attitude
- Good computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Confidence and the ability to think on your feet
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn new tasks quickly
- Full time relief work to cover staff holidays will be required.
- Some experience with bookkeeping and cash handling
