About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality meat preparation, attention to detail, and a strong customer service mindset. You’ll be responsible for preparing, cutting, and presenting a variety of meats in a clean and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cut, trim, bone, and portion meat products to specifications.
- Production of sausages, crumbed products, overwrap & customer convenience offerings.
- Ensure all products are presented and packaged to the highest standard.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area.
- Provide excellent service and advice to customers.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.
About You:
- Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter.
- Sound knowledge of meat preparation, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team for The Greater Goodness.
- Relevant trade qualification preferred.
