About the role:
We’re hiring a full-time Funeral Services Manager to lead operations at our funeral home.
You’ll manage a compassionate team and ensure every service is delivered with care and professionalism.
Support families before, during, and after the funeral with empathy and cultural sensitivity. Build strong relationships with the community and uphold high service standards. Make a meaningful impact in a purpose-driven role that honours life and supports others.
About you:
- You possess the capacity to lead, develop, and inspire your team by creating a workplace where people feel valued, challenged and proud to be part of the team
- Operations, people and finance management for an extremely high-volume location
- Ability to deliver profit objectives while ensuring outstanding customer service levels
- Sensitivity to circumstances involving grieving people, their values and beliefs
- Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the public
- Empathy to interpret the needs of people and clearly communicate options to clients
- Competent administrative and computing skills and an eye for detail.
- Flexibility to participate in after hour duties, including occasional weekend arranging.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Hold a level of comfort in working with grieving families and the deceased
- Unrestricted Driver’s license
